Custom Page Titles and Descriptions

DigiFusion allows you to set custom page titles and descriptions for individual posts and pages. This feature enables you to override the default page header content and create unique, customized page headers for different sections of your website.

Setting Custom Page Titles

You can set a custom page title that will replace the default title in the page header area.

For Gutenberg Editor

Navigate to the post or page you want to edit in your WordPress dashboard. In the block editor, look for the DigiFusion Settings panel in the right sidebar.

Locate the Page Header Settings section and enter your desired title in the Custom Page Title field.

The custom title will override the default page title and appear in the page header area instead of the post/page title.

For Classic Editor

Open the post or page you want to edit. Scroll down to find the DigiFusion Page Settings metabox below the content editor.

In the Page Header section, enter your custom title in the Custom Page Title field.

Save or update your post to apply the changes.

Adding Page Descriptions

Page descriptions appear below the page title in the page header area and provide additional context or information about the page content.

In the Page Settings

Within the same Page Header Settings section, locate the Page Description field.

Enter your description text in this field. You can include basic HTML formatting if needed.

The description will appear below the page title in the page header area, providing visitors with additional context about the page content.

How Custom Titles and Descriptions Work

When you set a custom page title, DigiFusion checks for the custom title first before displaying the default post or page title.

For page descriptions, if you add content to this field, DigiFusion will create a description section in the page header that appears below the title.

These custom settings are specific to each individual post or page, allowing you to create unique page headers throughout your website.

Displaying Custom Content

The custom page title and description are automatically displayed in the page header area when visitors view the page on the frontend.

If no custom title is set, the default post or page title will be used. If no description is added, only the title area will be displayed.

The page header area includes the title, description (if set), and breadcrumb navigation, providing a complete page header experience for your visitors.
