Troubleshooting License Activation Problems

License activation problems can prevent you from accessing DigiFusion Pro features and receiving updates. This guide covers the most common license activation issues and their solutions.

Common License Activation Issues

Invalid License Key Error If you receive an “Invalid License Key” message, verify that you’re entering the complete license key exactly as provided in your purchase confirmation email. License keys are case-sensitive and must include all characters and hyphens.

Connection Failed Error Network connectivity issues between your server and our license server can prevent activation. This is often caused by server firewall restrictions or hosting provider limitations.

Step 1: Verify Your License Key

Navigate to your WordPress dashboard and go to DigiFusion > License.

Copy your license key from your purchase confirmation email and paste it into the license key field. Ensure there are no extra spaces before or after the key.

Click Activate License and wait for the response.

Step 2: Check Domain Restrictions

Log into your customer account on our website where you purchased DigiFusion Pro.

Navigate to your license management area and click Deactivate next to the domain where the license is currently active.

Return to your WordPress dashboard and attempt activation again.

Step 3: Resolve Connection Issues

If activation fails due to connection problems, contact your hosting provider to ensure the following requirements are met:

Your server must allow outgoing HTTPS connections to our license verification servers.

PHP cURL extension must be enabled on your server.

Your hosting provider should not be blocking external API calls.

Step 4: Clear License Cache

Sometimes cached license data can interfere with activation. To clear the license cache:

Go to DigiFusion > Updates in your WordPress dashboard.

Click Deactivate License if a license is currently shown as active.

Wait 30 seconds, then enter your license key again and click Activate License.

Step 5: Manual License Verification

If automatic activation continues to fail, you can manually verify your license:

Copy your license key and domain name.

Contact our support team with your license key and the domain where you’re trying to activate it.

We can manually activate your license and provide you with a temporary activation code if needed.

License Expiration Issues

Expired License Notifications If your license has expired, you’ll see notifications in your WordPress dashboard. Expired licenses prevent you from receiving updates and having premium features.

Renewing Your License Visit our website and log into your customer account to renew your expired license. After renewal, the license status should update automatically within 24 hours.

Server Configuration Requirements

PHP Version DigiFusion Pro requires PHP 7.4 or higher. Contact your hosting provider to upgrade PHP if you’re running an older version.

WordPress Version Ensure you’re running WordPress 6.0 or higher, as older versions may not support the license activation system.

SSL Certificate Your website must have a valid SSL certificate for secure license verification. License activation may fail on non-HTTPS websites.
